What are Identities
Identities are the key identifiers that are in control of digitally signing information about other identities within your trust network. An organization may hold numerous identities that can be used for specific purposes.
For example a University may have a main Organization Identity for institutional purposes, but may also have a HR identity for handling student ID and employee ID, a humanities identity for issuing humanities certificates, an identity for open badges, and so on.
Your organization identities are individually able to manage, issue, receive, and interact with specific templates and credentials, relative to the permissions you wish to grant them. Your main organization identity is responsible for governing the management, permissions, and coordination of all other identities you create. It is essentially the super admin identity for all your other organization identities.
You can manage your identities in the identities section of your organization dashboard.
