How to Verify Identity DNS

To verify your DNS you need to create a new DNS record on your hosting service to connect your verifiable identity to your domain. This process may different between hosting providers, but the required fields to enter in your new DNS record will be the same.

To verify your DNS create a new CNAME record for your subdomain with your hosting service provider containing the following information:

Record Type - CNAME

Host - the subdomain you wish to connect to your identity e.g. identity

Value - did.auvo.io

TTL - 3600

Once you have created and saved your DNS record, in your identities page press the "Verify DNS" button to verify the DNS record has been activated.

note: this may take up to 24hrs dependent upon your service provider.

Once your DNS has been verified your organization identity will be linked to your domain and you can issue and verify credentials with your new organization identity.
