What is an Organization

In short, an organization is any entity that wishes to issue, manage, receive, or verify credentials.

An organization is represented by at least one organization identity, which is a unique identifier that has the ability to sign and manage credentials so that they can be proven as connected directly to that entity.

An organization can provide public information, such as name, website, logo, and other publicly identifiable data, that can also be assigned to credentials issued by the organization, to create a verifiable profile of the organization that can build out verifiable trust.

You can manage your organization profile in your settings and manage your organization identities in the identities section of your dashboard.

To setup an organization identity all you need is a mobile device running Android or iOS and access to your web domain DNS records.
